Dubai Creek Attractions

This famous attraction in Dubai is 14 km long and stretches through the central part of the Old City and the Creek Harbour area to the Ras Al Khor Reserve. This waterway, which is also called Khor Dubai, is known for its picturesque views, many attractions, and important significance for the history and development of Dubai.

The natural creek divides the city into two parts: Bur Dubai in the west and Deira in the east. It starts at the Persian Gulf and extends almost 15 kilometres inland. There are three bridges across the place, and there is also a tunnel under the creek that allows cars to drive.

Everything is created for your comfortable movement around the city. Although the Creek is best explored on foot and by water transport, all other attractions and places of interest are recommended to be seen with the help of a comfortable car. You can generally relax and drive around without thinking about the roads if you rent car with driver or rent luxury car Dubai yourself.

Trinity already knows the answer to any question regarding renting because you can expect:

  • a car in perfect condition, delivered on time, to any place convenient for you (for example, a hotel, restaurant, or airport);
  • a choice of more than 80 luxury cars with minimal mileage and no deposit;
  • a tank of gas as a gift;
  • 300 km per day are already included in the price;
  • full insurance, VAT, and toll roads are also included in the price.

If you have any questions, your manager is ready to answer them right away. Payment is accepted by MasterCard and Visa cards, cash, and crypto.

Well, have you already imagined yourself driving a Porsche in Dubai? Or maybe a Lamborghini or a G-Class? You will fit into the atmosphere of luxury of the city in any case. Now let's take a closer look at what to do in Dubai Creek area.

Take an abra ride

Abra in Dubai is a traditional Arabian boat that can accommodate up to 20 people. This water taxi is considered one of the oldest local means of transport. Abra boats are mainly seen in the Old City, in the Dubai Creek location. For only 1 AED, you will have the chance to ride an abra along the Creek, sailing from Bur Dubai to Deira or vice versa, and immerse yourself in the past.

The view from the water is simply stunning. You can sit on a bench in the center of the boat and admire the outlines of ancient buildings and colourful dhows. There are four stations along the creek where you can catch a water taxi. The first route runs from Bur Dubai (west of the Old Dubai Market) to Deira Old Souk (near the Spice Souk and Gold Souk). Another abra route connects Dubai Old Souk and Al Sabkha. By the way, if you prefer a more private ride, you can take a private abra for a 60-minute ride. The price for such a service varies from 120 to 150 AED.

Feel the spirit of the East at the Gold Souk

Today, the Dubai Gold Souk has more than 300 shops and stores selling jewelry and products for every taste. The pilgrimage here of tens of millions of people every year has acquired the status of an excursion to one of the main cultural landmarks of the emirate and a unique Dubai Creek tourist attraction. However, for many guests of the country, as before, the only goal is shopping in this place. Even if it is a small trinket or a tiny pearl, even if you do not intend to buy anything here, you will still find this place very interesting and worthy of attention, at least for acquaintances.

To this day, the debate does not subside about how profitable it is today to buy gold in such a place and whether it is worth doing at all. Due to the crazy competition, a kind of dumping becomes inevitable — the one whose offer is the most profitable and attractive wins. Here, refusing to bargain with the seller, you show him some disrespect. So, take this into account: if you decide to purchase an item here, be prepared to bargain long, persistently, and enthusiastically.

Enjoy the walk around Creek Park

If you ask yourself what to do in Dubai Creek, you should definitely consider Creek Park. The second largest park in Dubai is located along the western coast (2.5 km), on an area of almost 100 hectares in the very center of this amazing eastern city. Creek Park is a real greenhouse and botanical garden in one place.

This is the place where sports-minded citizens like to spend their time actively. It also has its own amphitheatre, cable car, a nd mini-golf and also hosts seasonal exhibitions and shows.

Do not miss a trip to the dolphinarium, which is located directly on the territory of Creek Park. Shows with amazing marine animals are held daily, except Sunday. You can not only enjoy the show but also swim with dolphins for an additional fee.

Get mesmerized in the Museum of Illusions

Are you standing on a flat surface or an incline? Feel like you’re testing the laws of physics in the amazing anti-gravity room! How do marbles roll up? How does that water flow up a hill? You won’t believe it’s possible until you see it for yourself!

Elsewhere in Dubai’s craziest museum, try your best to walk on a spinning cylinder or challenge the laws of perception with a special chair that makes you look tiny when you sit on it. Feel like you’re surrounded by infinite space in the Infinity Hall, a massive hall of mirrors designed to multiply the person you love — you! It’s part magic, part mind tricks, but either way, it’s incredible fun for the whole family.

Admire the waterview and sunsets at Promenade

Dubai Creek Walk is a special highlight in the picturesque 6-kilometre embankment with a breathtaking skyline panorama of the tallest building in the world against the backdrop of the water surface and the Ras al-Khor nature reserve.

We recommend that you come to the Promenade shortly before sunset in clear weather, it is much more romantic. The sun will slowly sink below the horizon, creating gorgeous moments for photographs. And a new circular bridge has been built on the waterfront, part of which hangs over the water.

According to the plan, a new Tower should also be built here, which will be almost half as tall as the Burj Khalifa. After several years of inactivity, the project has recently been taken up again.
